Tam şarjlı Akü boştaki voltajları yaklaşık olarak 13,5 -13,6 v civarındadır.

Yük bağlandığında, çekilen akıma orantılı olarak gerilim düşmeleri oluşur.

Örnek vermek gerekirse 20 A bir yük bağlanan iki aküden birinin voltajı

12,3v düşerken diğeri 12,5v seviyesine düşerse,

12,3v a düşen akü diğerine göre  güç kapasite kaybına uğramış demektir.

Bu yüzden akülerde boşta ölçülen voltajlara göre yapılan değerlendirmeler yanlış olabilir.

Karavan veya mobil araçlarda boş yüklerde voltmetreler ile yapılan ölçümlerin doğruluk payı çok azdır.

Bu yüzden aküler belirli aralıklar ile kapasite testi yapılması gerekir.

Bu testler yük altında akım ve gerilim değerlerini içerir, daha isabetli sonuçlar elde edilir.

Bu ölçümler yüksek akımlı kapasite test cihazı ile yapılır.

Bu ölçümleri yetkin kişilerin yapması, isabetli bir sonuç için önemlidir.

Kurşun asit akülerin yük altıda voltajları 12v seviyesine düştüğünde, akü yaklaşık olarak % 70-75 boşalmış demektir.

Akülerde sülfatlaşma % 25-30 seviyesine kadar boşaltıldıktan sonra başladığı ifade edilmektedir.

WHAT IS BATTERY CAPACITY?

HOW TO MEASURE THE BATTERY?

Fully charged battery discharge voltage is approximately 13.5 -13.6 v.

WHAT DO BATTERY DOD and SOC MEAN?

When the voltage of lead acid batteries drops to 12v under load, it means that the battery is approximately 70-75% discharged.
